1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using Connecteire's website management service ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Customer", "you", or "your") and Connecteire ("we", "us", or "our").

2. Service Description

Connecteire provides:

  • Phone-based website management (call us to request updates)
  • Professional website hosting on a custom or provided domain
  • Team review of all changes before publication
  • Email-based photo management
  • Website version control and rollback capability
  • Website templates optimized for Irish businesses

3. Pricing & Payment

3.1 Subscription Plans

  • Monthly Plan: €40 per month, billed monthly
  • Annual Plan: €420 per year (€35/month effective rate, 12.5% discount)

3.2 No Setup Fee

There are no setup fees, onboarding fees, or hidden charges.

3.3 Payment Terms

  • Payments are processed via Stripe
  • Monthly subscriptions renew automatically on your billing date
  • Annual subscriptions renew 12 months from signup
  • All prices are in Euros (€) and include VAT where applicable
  • Failure to pay will result in service suspension after 7 days

3.4 Refund Policy

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for first-time customers. If you're not satisfied within the first 30 days, we'll provide a full refund.

After 30 days, subscriptions are non-refundable. However, you may cancel at any time to stop future charges.

4. Free Trial / Preview

We may offer a free preview service where we:

  • Build your website before you pay
  • Send you a preview link to review
  • Only charge you if you approve and want to go live

You are under no obligation to proceed with paid service after receiving a preview.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time by:

  • Calling our support number
  • Emailing support@connecteire.ie
  • Using your Stripe customer portal (link provided in billing emails)

Cancellation takes effect:

  • Monthly plans: End of current billing period (no partial refunds)
  • Annual plans: End of current annual period (no partial refunds)

After cancellation, your website will remain live for 30 days to allow you to migrate. After 30 days, the website will be taken offline and your data will be permanently deleted after 90 days.

6. Update Processing

All website updates are reviewed by our team before publication. This means:

  • Updates are NOT published instantly — our team processes your request
  • Changes typically go live within 2-3 hours during business hours
  • We may contact you for clarification if your request needs more detail
  • We reserve the right to decline updates that violate our content policy (see Section 8)

Our team handles your requests personally to ensure quality and accuracy.

7. Communications & Consent

By using our service, you consent to:

  • Storage of communications (phone messages, emails, texts) for service delivery
  • Processing of your update requests by our team
  • Retention of communications for quality assurance and support purposes
  • Use of third-party service providers to operate our platform (see Privacy Policy)

8. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

  • Publish illegal, defamatory, or obscene content
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Distribute malware or malicious code
  • Engage in phishing or fraud
  • Harass, abuse, or threaten others
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Impersonate another person or business

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy without refund.

9. Intellectual Property

9.1 Your Content

You retain full ownership of all content you provide (text, photos, business information, etc.). You grant us a license to use, host, and display this content solely for the purpose of operating your website.

9.2 Our Platform

Connecteire's technology, website templates, code, and branding remain our intellectual property. You may not:

  • Copy or redistribute our templates
  • Reverse-engineer our service
  • Use our branding without permission

9.3 Data Export

Upon request, we will provide you with a copy of your website content in JSON format and all your uploaded photos. This is provided free of charge and is part of your data portability rights under GDPR.

10. Service Availability

We strive for 99.5% uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for:

  • Service interruptions due to third-party failures (Cloudflare, GitHub, etc.)
  • Scheduled maintenance (we'll provide notice when possible)
  • Force majeure events (natural disasters, pandemics, etc.)

In the event of extended downtime (>24 hours), we'll prorate your next bill accordingly.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Connecteire is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
  • We are not liable for lost profits, revenue, data, or indirect damages
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months
  • We are not responsible for misinterpretation of update requests (which is why our team reviews everything)
  • We are not liable for content you choose to publish

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Connecteire harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your website content
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights

13. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes via:

  • Email to your registered address
  • SMS notification
  • Notice on our website

Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with changes, you may cancel your subscription.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
